어서오십시오 Welcome!
First and foremost, Haneul means sky in Korean. My wife and I both love the majestic and beautiful sky and hence my wife gave me a Korean name "Haneul" (하늘). As you can guess, this is why this site is Beautiful Haneul (아름다운 하늘). We are a Singakorean couple. Haha, I know it sounds weird, but it means Singapore-Korean couple.
Having Korean wife and in-laws really deepened my affinity with Korea. I am a person that is interested in different kinds of culture and their way of life. With this interest in the culture has really help me with making new Korea friends and knowing the country. I had since travelled around Korea looking at the beautiful mountains, rivers, people and food.
I am a glutton and my wife and I enjoy our food with great pleasure. More often than not, we will travel the extra mile just to go to a matjib (맛집 which means literally, delicious house/restaurant). Why travelling, we will not miss the chance to admire the beautiful nature.
Way before I met my wife I was captivated by the catchy K-pop music. Without understanding the songs, I was just hooked by it. Since then, I have never looked back & now I am happily married to my beautiful and lovely wife and now I am able to speak Korean and cook many Korean dishes.
All these good experience in Korea with my Korean family and friends, has spurred me on to share all these information, stories and most importantly these awesome products. Anything from Food to culture and products, you will find them here.

안녕하세요 반갑습니다
Korean culture is one that is extraordinary. The new world meeting the old world. Deeply embedded in the soul of Koreans are the fine etiquette and manners. Meeting the old world culture are the Halleyu Kpop and fashion leading the vanguard in the revolution of cultural integration.
With a goal of promoting this unique culture to friends and people around the globe, I have decided to set up a site and blog with the help of my Korean wife. I love sharing with people what I know about the culture, I find that Korea is a exciting and beautiful country. If the opportunity arises, I will also recommend some excellent and useful products from Korea. Stay tuned for that. :)
Short Bio about me:
I am Daniel Ong (왕다니엘) my given Korean name is 왕하늘 Wang Haneul (Haneul means sky). My beautiful wife Alica (김씨 let's just call her Miss Kim) was born in Suwon 수원 in Gyeonggi-do but raised in 광주 Gwangju. We met each other for a language exchange and we hit it off right after that.
